Choclate Rain is a song created by an American musician named Tay Zonday. As stated on Wikipedia  the song was created to be a metaphor on racism against African-Americans. The song was created in 2007 and was uploaded onto YouTube on April 22, 2007. The song quickly became one of the hottest viral videos  durning that summer of 2007.  Zonday said, "I'm pretty sure the 'Chocolate Rain' attention started as a joke at 4chan.org, an internet forum that is credited with starting lots of popular internet phenomena. It spread to a general audience and people started uploading spoofs. I don't know what causes people to listen to my music. If I could speak it, there would be no reason to write songs."

Axmitchell "Dire Straits-Money for Nothing"

As I listened and watch Dire Straits-Money for Nothing, I realized that this was one of the weirdest video I ever watch. I believe that the message of the video was that people use their money nothing. They waist it on random things when they should use it for important things. I may wrong but this is what i got from the video.

Axmitchell "Is Google making us stupid"

As i read the article " Is Google making us stupid " I was fascinated that most of the facts were true. As the article says that the internet has found a way to in a way, reprogram our minds. In the past people were able to read nonstop before their minds started to wounder. Now today after a couple of paragraphs, your minds wants to find something else to do. While I was reading the article my mind started to wounder also. I wanted to click on to something else, started think about my day and it made me think, is this the new way of reading?

Axmitchell "The Wilderness Downtown"

The video was fascinating to me. It's kind of weird that it just found my house and made of video of it that fast. I thought it had the wrong information at first then my house showed up at the last minute. Overall I enjoyed the video. Click here to view video

Reading in today's time

When I read Kevin Kell's "Reading in a Whole New Way", I learned some fascinating facts. For one I learned that the average person reads more on the internet that on paper. The average person looks up the information on a item before buying it so that he or she doesn't get the wrong item. But on the other hand, while reading Annie Sneed's " Everything science knows About Reading on Screens " Annie explains you can see how much you are reading in an e-book but you won't get the tactile experience from turning the pages, making it more difficult to create a mental map of text. So,  being able to have the information on screen takes away from the tactical experience but, it is better to have the information at the tap of a screen to save the hassle.

My digital Experience

I am a child of the digital generation. I grew up in a time where I didn't have to make a transaction to being digital. By being digital I mean, having most of your time spent on the internet. Being part of this generation means that if you want to do something, most likely it's just a few clicks away. For example with the song " We Use to Wait ", if you want to talk to someone you had to send an e-mail. Now you can just send a text and within seconds that person will receive the message.
